2004-2005 Patients of the
Year
Congratulations to Marissa B. and Joey U. our 2004-2005 Patients
of the Year. We surprised Marissa and Joey at their schools
with a limo and whisked them away to Tyson’s Corner Mall
where they got to enjoy dinner at the Rainforest Café.
Dr. Garai gave each of the kids a crisp, new $100 bill for
them to spend in the mall. Marissa was sweet and
bought her mother a Mother’s Day gift and some lip-gloss
for herself. Joey knew exactly what he wanted as he
raided Foot
Locker and
bought himself a new pair of shoes? Congratulations
again Marissa and Joey.
Dr. Garai Receives Honor
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Garai has been certified
and given the title of “Diplomate of the American Board
of Orthodontics.” The American Board of Orthodontics
is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the
American Dental Association.
Certification by the board is a voluntary process and involves
an extensive review of the orthodontist’s basic education
as well as an intensive amount of clinical expertise. Upon
certification the American Board of Orthodontists awards
the title of “Diplomate” which signifies a unique
achievement. As of March 2004, there are only 2,026 orthodontist
worldwide who have been honored with this title.
